Keeping strawberries fresh longer is mostly about reducing moisture and slowing mold growth. Here’s a simple method that works well.
How to Keep Strawberries Fresh for Longer
You’ll Need
Fresh strawberries
White vinegar
Water
Paper towels
A clean container with a loose-fitting lid
Instructions
Sort the berries.
Remove any bruised, moldy, or damaged strawberries, as they can cause the others to spoil more quickly.
Give them a vinegar rinse (optional but helpful).
Mix 1 part white vinegar with 3 parts water. Soak the strawberries for 1–2 minutes.
Rinse with clean water.
This removes any vinegar taste.
Dry thoroughly.
